O2 Youth was established in 2022 with the aim of providing fun, supportive, and educational classes for kids & teens. Our teachers are passionate about street dance and instilling the love of movement in their students. At O2 studios, we hope to usher in the new generation of talented street dancers!

That’s why our kids' dance class Melbourne programme is designed to encourage, educate, and exhilarate your little ones, ensuring they not only learn the moves but also develop a love for the rhythm.

Hip Hop
Our hip-hop dance class for kids is where energy and creativity meet. Under the guidance of our passionate instructor, Trevor, Adam or Jonathan your child will groove, rock, and jam to the latest beats, building their confidence and coordination in a vibrant group setting.
Kpop
For fans of dynamic Korean pop choreographies, Emily, Lily, Phoenix and Jessica’s K-pop dance class for kids will transport them straight to the heart of Seoul’s pop scene. They will learn the trendy moves and grooves of their favourite idols, all while making friends and developing their performance skills.

K-pop Training Class for Kids is slightly different to our other K-pop classes, as these classes are designed at a higher level (Level 2). They are perfect for K-pop passionate kids looking to take their performance skills to the next level while learning choreography from their favourite idols. This class is designed for dedicated students who are eager to enhance their skills. As it is a higher-level class, we encourage students to also take supporting classes, such as Foundations, to help build their confidence, technique, and repertoire.

A dance style that will surely wow family and friends, Jimmy’s will teach popping foundations for kids alongside Mario’s Hip Hop classes. Perfect for little ones with lots of energy and a love for performing, this class is all about dancing, building confidence, and connecting with their peers. It’s also a great choice for students who are passionate about performance and would like to progress to the next level. Students will learn a variety of exciting moves, including popular techniques like robot dancing and waving, there’s never a dull moment!
street jazz
Ziyun, Lily and Jessica’s Street Jazz dance class for kids infuses classic jazz with street-smart style, offering a toe-tapping, high-energy environment where kids can express themselves and improve their flexibility and strength.
boys Kpop
For fans of Boy Group K-pop choreography, Aaron and Justin’s K-pop dance class for kids brings the excitement and energy of the K-pop stage to every class. Students will learn the latest moves from their favourite idols while making friends and building their performance skills. This class focuses on Boy Group choreography rather than Girl Group routines. Open to everyone, this class is not limited to boys.

Discover the expressive and energetic world of Waacking with Lana! Originating from the vibrant club scene of Los Angeles, this unique dance style is all about musicality, confidence, and self-expression. Students will learn signature arm movements, performance skills, rhythm, and coordination while building confidence in a fun and supportive environment. [This class will start in Term 4]
Choreography
Our choreography classes with Jonathan are rooted in hip hop but aren't limited to it. This class gives you the opportunity to explore versatile movement pathways while learning fun, original choreography created by Jonathan. We place an emphasis on musicality, performance quality, and expression throughout each class.
Meet The Team

Emily - Kpop
Emily’s Kpop dance journey began in 2014, where she then went on to win Runner Up at “Malaysia KDCC 2018” and qualifier Champion at “Malaysia KDCC 2019”. Since moving to Melbourne, she has been active in diverse spaces of the dance scene including studio teaching, freestyle battles, and crew competitions. Emily helps students explore dance movements and find their love for dance through fun activities and catchy Kpop songs.

Lily - Kpop
Beginning her dance journey at age 10, Lily found her full passion for dance as a committed member of Kpop Dance Crew "SODA". Through her Kpop classes, she aims to help develop the individual personalities of each student and create fun memories. Dance steps are suitable for the youngest ages who may be stepping into dance for the very first time. Lily hopes to be an inspiration for young students who may dream of becoming a dancer.

Ziyun - StreetJazz/Kpop
Initially a self-taught dancer, Ziyun is passionate about guiding students through their journey with a solid growth mindset. In her teaching, she focuses not only on movement, but the delivery of a captivating performance. She has participated in Kpop cover groups "AO Crew" and "LACE", and is currently the leader of O2's Street Jazz crew "Limitless".

BBOY Blue - Breaking
Born and raised in Busan - South Korea, ChungKi Kim started dancing at the age of 13 and has been a professional Break Dancer under the name B-Boy Blue since 2007. Being one of the best Break Dancers within the industry and world wide, he has traveled the world competing, performing and judging for major competitions. With his continuous improvement, he has raised the level of Break dancing across the globe by being on tour and providing workshops. His passion for Break dance hopes to inspire the younger generations.

Jonathan - HipHop/Choreo
As the owner, artistic director and dance instructor of O2 Studios, his extensive knowledge in street dance over a decade provides him with multiple success and winning competitions. Focusing on strengthening in Hip Hop foundations for youths, he is devoted to prepare and train students to be well-versed in dancing; sharing as well as nurturing the joy when it comes to dance with his technical expertise.

Adam - HipHop
Inspired by the movement of Hip Hop at an early age, Adam has since immersed himself in dance. He has competed with Australia's Hip Hop Champions, The Collective, in 2012 and has danced for artists like Mizz Nina, Reshmonu, Jay Park, and other big artists in Asia. Today, Adam continues his career teaching classes around the world. Drawing from his experience in various countries including Australia, USA, Malaysia, and more, Adam teaches togetherness and the fun of dance in his class.

Jessica - Kpop
As an upcoming teacher with various experience in performing live shows, video projects, and teaching, Jessica understands what it's like to be a student. She focuses on foundational skills, and the essential movements of Kpop style. She always aims to make her classes enjoyable, encouraging, and full of growth. Most of all, Jessica wants her students to retain their passion for Kpop dance, and the spark that first made them fall in love with it.

Trevor - HipHop
Trevor Santos has an extensive and colourful dance career since he started dancing at 15. Self-taught at first, his drive and passion in dance has allowed him to choreograph for international acts (Hangeng, Chris Sebastian), and dance in on-stage productions (TJ - Michael Jackson Tribute, Hamilton). A highly sought after teacher, locally and nationally, Trevor continues to work on his craft and push those around him to reach beyond their standards.

Phoenix - Kpop
Phoenix is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher, trained via the Elite Performance course at Jason Coleman Ministry of Dance. Starting in 2019, she is an active member of Melbourne Kpop Cover group "Cypher". Phoenix aims to bring a vibrant and exciting energy to each class so learning can be fun and rewarding!
