O2 Youth was established in 2022 with the aim of providing fun, supportive, and educational classes for kids & teens. Our teachers are passionate about street dance and instilling the love of movement in their students. At O2 studios, we hope to usher in the new generation of talented street dancers!

5-7yo (45 min. classes): $225 for 1 genre, $450 for 2 genres
7+yo (1 hour. classes): $250 For 1 genre, $490 for 2 genres, $720 for 3 genres
Kpop Training (1.5 hour. classes)(Recommended students only): $375

EMILY – Kpop

Emily’s Kpop dance journey began in 2014, where she then went on to win Runner Up at “Malaysia KDCC 2018” and qualifier Champion at “Malaysia KDCC 2019”. Since moving to Melbourne, she has been active in diverse spaces of the dance scene including studio teaching, freestyle battles, and crew competitions. Emily helps students explore dance movements and find their love for dance through fun activities and catchy Kpop songs.

JUMI – Hip Hop

Beginning her dance journey at age 6 at Recognize Studios in Singapore, leading to competitive training starting at age 10, Jumi has first-hand experience with hip hop and street dance classes at a young age. Balancing fun games and exercises with hip hop foundation training, Jumi strives to deliver an enjoyable learning environment for all ages.

KRISTIE – Kpop

Kristie has been active within the Kpop cover community for over 7 years as the founder of Kpop cover group "Hustle". She teaches Kpop regularly at O2 Dance Studios to a wide demographic of students, and is highly capable of breaking down each step in an easy-to-understand way, and provide clear demonstrations. Kristie wishes to spread the love of Kpop through her classes. 

NOAH – Popping

Noah has developed his popping skills through various platforms, including Victoria's largest Popping training program, "Popping Nation", (winner of the MVP award) “Dime After Dime” freestyle battle, and competing with “King of Hearts” crew at Revolution Championships. Noah encourages all students to have fun when dancing and dance with their individual style, while at the same time learning the correct technique and foundation. 

ZIYUN – Street Jazz

Initially a self-taught dancer, Ziyun is passionate about guiding students through their journey with a solid growth mindset. In her teaching, she focuses not only on movement, but the delivery of a captivating performance. She has participated in Kpop cover groups "AO Crew" and "LACE", and is currently the leader of the all-girls Street Jazz crew "Limitless".

SONYA – Boys Kpop

Born and raised in South Korea, Sonya has trained in various dance styles, specialising in Hip Hop, Choreography, and Contemporary. Her vast experience includes back-up dancing for Kpop group "TWICE" in their MV "Like Ooh-Aah", and earning a Master of Dance at the University of Melbourne. Sonya aims to create a space for self-expression in her classes while focusing on power and performance in Boys Kpop routines.

BBOY BLUE – Breaking

Born and raised in Busan - South Korea, ChungKi Kim started dancing at the age of 13 and has been a professional Break Dancer under the name B-Boy Blue since 2007. Being one of the best Break Dancers within the industry and world wide, he has traveled the world competing, performing and judging for major competitions. With his continuous improvement, he has raised the level of Break dancing across the globe by being on tour and providing workshops. His passion for Break dance hopes to inspire the younger generations.

JONATHAN – Hip Hop

As the owner, artistic director and dance instructor of O2 Studio, his extensive knowledge in street dance over a decade provides him with multiple success and winning competitions. Focusing on strengthening in Hip Hop foundations for youths, he is devoted to prepare and train students to be well-versed in dancing; sharing as well as nurturing the joy when it comes to dance with his technical expertise.

LILY – Kpop

Beginning her dance journey at age 10, Lily found her full passion for dance as a committed member of Kpop Dance Crew "SODA". Through her Kpop classes, she aims to help develop the individual personalities of each student and create fun memories. Dance steps are suitable for the youngest ages who may be stepping into dance for the very first time. Lily hopes to be an inspiration for young students who may dream of becoming a dancer.

JESSICA – Kpop

As an upcoming teacher with various experience in performing live shows, video projects, and teaching, Jessica understands what it's like to be a student. She focuses on foundational skills, and the essential movements of Kpop style. She always aims to make her classes enjoyable, encouraging, and full of growth. Most of all, Jessica wants her students to retain their passion for Kpop dance, and the spark that first made them fall in love with it.

Hip Hop Dance Class for Kids

Our hip-hop dance class for kids is where energy and creativity meet. Under the guidance of our passionate instructor, Jumi, your child will groove, rock, and jam to the latest beats, building their confidence and coordination in a vibrant group setting.


K-Pop Dance Class for Kids

For fans of dynamic Korean pop choreographies, Emily, Kristie, and Sonya’s K-pop dance class for kids will transport them straight to the heart of Seoul’s pop scene. They will learn the trendy moves and grooves of their favourite idols, all while making friends and developing their performance skills.


Popping Dance Class for Kids

A dance style that will surely wow family and friends, Noah’s popping dance class for kids are perfect for little ones with tons of energy and a love for performing. Including popular moves such as robot dancing and waving, there’s never a boring moment.


Street Jazz Dance Class for Kids

Ziyun’s jazz dance class for kids infuses classic jazz with street-smart style, offering a toe-tapping, high-energy environment where kids can express themselves and improve their flexibility and strength.

Program Details and Fees

Terms loosely follow the school year, with Term 3 spanning 10 exciting weeks, finishing with a short video filming to showcase to family and friends. For those enrolling into Terms 2 or 4, you will have the opportunity to perform live on stage! We offer a trial deal for new students trying a class for the first time, making it an unbeatable offer. Plus, further discount can be taken if enrolling siblings or having a friend referral. O2 Dance Studios.

We welcome tiny dancers from ages 5 to teens. Our classes are segmented to cater to Kids (5-7), Juniors (8-11), and Teens (12+).

O2 Dance Studios can be found on Level 1, 200 Bourke St. Melbourne VIC 3000. We’re in the heart of Melbourne with easy access to parking lots for those attending multiple classes. New classes are open at Arndell Park Community Centre.
